Since time ago, immigration has been an important issue in the world. People around of the world are part of this problem. People from low income countries are the ones who migrates the most. Sometimes, they want to find a better life in other country, but sometimes they can´t arrive to their destinations.  Immigrants migrate from their native countries to find a better live. Immigration happens due to different causes, but it also has benefits and problems.

The causes of immigration are many. People want to find better places to live. They want stability for their families, and they, in few words, wants a better quality of life. Some people flee due to wars. They find better jobs and better wages. Another cause of immigration is the studies; people migrate for find better quality in studies.

 Immigrants and people who are born a country have a lot of benefits when they arrive to another country.  Immigrants can work in different sectors. They have social interactions with other cultures. Immigration can bring a different gastronomy from their countries. Immigrants have benefit in different areas, for example in C.R immigrants have the benefits of CCSS.

Problems of immigration harm not only immigrants but also native people. Due to immigration there is an increase of people in cities. Because the immigration, people tend to be xenophobic, hating immigrants. In some cases immigrants increases crime because sometimes there is not enough work for all. For some immigrants at first, it is difficult to adapt to a strange country without friends or family. The life of an immigrant is not easy; the reason is because the immigrants have to go through many challenges during their journey to a better life.

Fast Food

Today fast food is a big part of our lives. It is a popular way of having food prepared and served very quickly. Around the world there are different types of fast food restaurants. So are more popular than others. With the efficient service, low prices and casual atmosphere, fast food seems like the ideal. Some reasons why people choose fast food are good service, low prices, less work to prepare.

Most fast food restaurants have a good service for people of any ages. The service is fast and the food is ready very quickly to enjoy. The atmosphere in some restaurants is quieter. Children enjoy a lot with the playgrounds these restaurants offer. People can ask for fast food without going out of their house with single call. Fast food restaurants are everywhere. Fast food offers different types of food for any taste.

I think that low prices are one of the means reasons why people choose fast food. Sometimes the low prices offered are crazy. You can have breakfast, lunch, or dinner at a good price. Some buyers can get discount coupons and other benefits like combos. In few words, with little money the person leaves the place satisfied.

Fast food was made popular with the slogan "less work for mom." Today women work more than in the past and they do not have time to cook for their families. For this reason the fast food is their best friend in these cases. In any time, people can eat fast food because of their available schedules. At home, fast food not difficult to prepare and is ready so fast. It is handy when you do not have much time to eat or you have little money. In others words, fast food makes life easier, but eating fast food all the time can harm our body. We need to eat fruits and vegetables and sometimes leave the excuse of not having time for cooking.

Volunteering

When we speak about voluntary work, we know that it is related to those who take a little time to help others. Now there are different types of organizations that encourage people who want to help. Now there different types of organization that help to people with problems and need volunteers. Different words describe volunteers that help others either in one organization or even by themselves. Some of these words that describe volunteers are solidarity, cooperation and kindness.

Volunteers show solidarity because they take their free time for help others in difficult situations. They approach humans and social reality and treat of be part of solution. They try to help to fix the problems of others with their help without thinking what it will cost. Volunteers know the problems of others and deal to help ever. They have compassion for the pain of others when they are going through a difficult time in their lives.

Volunteers cooperate with others to accomplish great deeds for unfortunate people. Together they unite all forces to bring a smile on that sad face that has nothing to offer. Works hard for bring happiness to others. Volunteers take its time to give love and support to people in need. They work hard for treat to build a better place for everybody.

Volunteers are kind people; Kindness is exactly the word to describe these people. The reasons are many. These people have a big heart, used not to think in themselves, they use it to think in others that have a terrible situation in life. They feel the pain of others and make something to get happiness in those lives.

Of course, volunteering is great and worth it, because it is wonderful to help others that have a bad situation. Beings able get to happiness to someone in one special day, for example in Christmas is awesome. Getting a place where to live for a family in need and knowing they be warm at nights is awesome. Clearly help others in need is something that worth. In few words volunteering it fills your spirit and makes you feel good.

Senior advertisements

Today we can see a great deal of advertisements in the streets, TV, newspaper and internet where in many we can see happy senior citizens promoting some products. It’s nice to know that people care about older people. It’s important that they feel good doing what they like most. Grandparents are wise and they need our respect.  Seniors citizens in advertisements represent today endurance, love and happiness for all people.

Elders represent endurance because their wrinkles teach us a long and beautiful story of their lives. Grandparents’ life is full of triumphs and defeats which are mark in their eyes and skin. This shows that although the many years over their shoulders, they can dance, run, exercise and enjoy life as teenagers. In fact, senior citizens have a younger spirit than teen people sometimes. For this and other reasons, they represent endurance in some advertisements.

When we think in advertisements love is inevitable when thinking in senior’s citizens, because they are love. They are women and men who say they have exhausted forces, but with accumulated youth in their hearts that are willing to give one good advice and love. In our families elders represent pure love. They are people that can help in any situation with only hugging smiling. Every wrinkle is a story that leaves a valuable teaching.

In advertisements, senior citizens represent happiness, because they can transmit happiness in a second with their smiles. This type of advertisements shows peace because when we are old, we can be happy, even with wrinkles. We can see old people live in peace and without worries. They have a lovely image that makes us feel love. So we need to be sweet and give them back our love and respect.

In conclusion, for these reasons and more, the advertisements with senior citizens are a total success. Everybody believes in the “eternal youth” and wants to live their old age full of happiness, beauty, love, endurance, and wisdom. Young people must show them respect and love because they deserve it. Without grandparents our lives will turn sad and bitter. Elders should be a model for young people. 

Animals rights

Currently, most scientific experiments are testing with animals. It is not good to take away the animals from the environment. People should be more concerned and think first about the issues these actions will cause the ecosystem. Humans must see the animals such as living things not like an object. People should not conduct experiments using animals because they are living things, they have rights, and they help our environment.

People shouldn´t use animals in experiments because they are living things like us. Animals have feeling as well, so we shouldn´t practice on them. Nowadays scientists try their new theories or experiments on animals such as mice and monkeys. I have always asked myself would scientists like to try their theories on themselves. I think the answer would be NO. So, why do they do it on poor animals? They should think in that before acting like insane people, hurting animals.

Like human beings, animals also have certain rights and they must be respected and treated in a good way like every person in the world. Scientists shouldn´t experiment with animals because they can be hurt and have severe damage. They also have life and we must consider their rights. Many people test on animals, removing them from their habitats to take them to labs, where they will test them in different ways to see their reaction. Although testing on animals is prohibited, sometimes penalized, but people continue doing it without thinking about the feelings of the sweet animals.

People should not conduct experiments on animals because they help on environment. Animals help to preserve our ecosystem. Animals should live in their own habitat. Besides, providing food, fur, leather, feathers and medicinal products, they provide other important benefits. Some animals can help. For example,

ü “Insects are responsible for pollination of most plants. Other animals are responsible for spreading the seeds.

ü Many invertebrates are farmers and shredders. They the soil to improve its texture to open furrows and pores that hold water and air and house the roots.

Humans should stop making damage to animals. We must think first if we would like that kind of situation to happen to us. Animals have rights like us, so laws should be stricter in that aspect. Animals are important for the environment because they help to preserve the ecosystem. It’s time to realize that we are affecting nature, so we should stop treating animals in a bad way because that´s damaging our world.

SOUL SURFER

The movie ¨soul surfer¨ is about a true story of a thirteen years old girl who loved being every moment in the sea. Her name is Bethany Hamilton. She loved surfing and was an excellent surfer, one of the best, she was a champion. She was loved by all and a good daughter; she loved being surrounded by friends and, family always and of course by surfing. “This movie is an interesting and inspiring because Bethany is attacked by a shark; she re-lean to make everything with only one arm, and is an inspiration to others”.

Bethany always practiced in one coast, but one normal day of surfing and friends, she was attacked by one shark and lost her arm. She lost a lot blood and she did not know what happened in that moment. To save Bethany she had to undergo several operations by the big loss of blood. In the hospital when she did not see her arm she remains calm, and maintains her faith in God.

When Bethany got home, she had to re-learn everything with only one arm even surfing. She tried to lead a normal life as before of the accident. Whit helps her family, friends and faith in god it succeeds. A first it’s a difficult because the life put some obstacles and she believe that her old life is lost. But finally she manages to surf back awesome and make the same things as before.

Bethany is an inspiration for us because she made activities like surfing with one arm. She taught us that life is short to be sad and we should enjoy it, no matter what happens. She never gave up and overcome her problem with a smile on her face. She helps of people that were a victim earthquake, when she had a recent problem. She maintained her faith in god.

In a few words, this movie is interesting because the shark attack is so real and you can feel the pain and fear that Bethany could feel in this moment. The process of Bethany to re-learns everything in her life is awesome and magic. She is an inspiration for anyone that sees the movie. It’s a perfect movie to share with our family and to think that the problems don’t mean the end of world.
